This year we decided to support the association Il Giardino del Baobab OVD in Reggio Emilia, involving the group in creating the new Christmas Campaign.
Il Giardino del Baobab in Reggio Emilia OVD is a non- profit association, which brings together young people who, due to different disabilities, communicate exclusively using writing, thanks to the Alphabetic Language Facilitated Communication , thus giving voice to their thought.
The group of Il Giardino del Baobab use computers as a tool to communicate, typing the words on the keyboard, with the support of a facilitator.
Il Giardino del Baobab in Reggio Emilia OVD promotes meetings and projects with public and private organizations, in addition to carrying out curricular studies. This year was dedicated in particular to theatre classes. The group creates a theatrical script with the guidance of actress Claudia Mosconi.
We at Clevertech supports technology at the service of man. In fact, technology allows you to lighten the load of fatigue and manual labor, but it also allows you to unleash creativity, as the projects of the young people of Il Giardino del Baobab in Reggio Emilia OVD demonstrate.
For this reason we firmly believe in the work of this association, which oversaw the copywriting activity for us, conceiving the contents of the campaign A sip of sustainable water, dedicated to the abolition of disposable plastic bottles in all the factories of the group and the new use of water in the company.
The growing awareness of the fact that our planet's resources are not inexhaustible, has initiated the spread of good practices to reduce waste in every sector. From the food we eat to the water we drink to the energy sources we use, we are involved firsthand in contributing as individuals, families, companies and countries.
Alongside the waste, the other topic of global interest in these months is the pollution given by the plastics that grip our seas and rivers. The invasion of microplastics has also affected the food we eat, becoming one of the main themes for every agenda of the future.
The reduction of plastic bottles currently passes through personal and corporate responsibility. In the wake of this commitment, we have chosen to discourage the use of small bottles and plastic glasses in the companies during work, equipping each meeting room with a glass carafe with a silicone cap and each person with a personalized aluminum flask.
Every sip of water is a precious commodity and we believe it should be treated with care.

The development of artificial intelligence and robotics seems to have important consequences in the world of work: someone even talks of catastrophic impacts on employment. It depends on the use that will be made of the opportunities that future development offers us. According to a recent report by the McKinsey Global Institute, the automated activities in almost two-thirds of jobs in the world could have increased at least of 30% by 2030: it would mean changing the lives of 800 million employees.
However, it may not be so negative: McKinsey believes that the new technology will take care of the most "hard" job and will allow humans to take care of what they like most in the creative and innovative sphere. This would be a great opportunity for humankind to progress while minimizing costs.
